We went to meet with an orthopedic surgeon on Monday. For any of you that have never noticed, Joshua walks on this toes 95% of the time. After meeting with Dr. Knuth on Monday, we were given two options. Option 1, would to put him into 2 walking casts on his feet for 6 weeks. Option 2, would to get braces for his feet. They would be on for up to a year. He would have to wear them from the moment he wakes up, till when he goes to bed.
We are going back to the doctor this Monday. We want to know more about the casts. We think that is the way we are going to go.
