Haley got tickets to see Hamilton for Christmas. We went down to dinner and to see Hamilton. It was so amazing.
Josh's promotion
What an amazing day for Josh. Started out the morning at the awards ceremony where Josh won 6 awards.
Academic Award -having a 3.5 or higher GPA
Presidents Academic Award - he had 4.0 GPA for all 3 years at middle school (even though it only counted 7th & 8th Grade)!
Great Performers Award - outstanding achievement in Performing Arts.
Hawthorn Instrumental Music Award - band student who has demonstrated a high degree of musicianship and leadership.
Audrae L Duke Humanitarian Award - presented to 4 8th graders who had service to others, positive attitude, citizenship and unselfish giving of time
Wally Sitz Physical Education Student of the Year Award - his name will be on a plaque - consistent high participation and demonstration of excellence in the area of physical education
Then on to the promotion ceremony at night.
