Fun day in the backyard

We were going to head to the VH pool this afternoon but heard it was crowded so we ended up staying home and having a great time in the backyard!  The kids did slip-n-slide, water balloons, squirt guns and snacks outside.  What a fun Sunday! And now, BBQ ribs on the grill!

Josh's reading class put on Charlotte's Web.  Josh was Templeton, the rat.  He got a lot of laughs from the pillow stuffed in his stomach!



Couch Potato to 5K

I've never been a runner (EVER) but I decided to try a new program, C25K on my cell phone.  It was 8 weeks of learning how to run a 5K.  I asked my friend, Jen, to join me.  She found us a great first 5K to run and we DID IT!  Today we ran a 5K.  Here are the before and after pictures.  Thanks JEN for running with me today!



Josh's First Communion

We celebrated Josh's first communion this morning.  We went out to out to breakfast after mass.  Thank you to Josh's grandparents, the Menis', Carbonari's and Weaver's for coming today.
